Fly larvae are carnivores dwarf?
I had a bowl full of tadpoles of toad, about 20 of them, who had collected from a pond almost dry. Than had had for about 2 weeks, frog feeding them pellets every 3 days. They were doing well and developing countries: some had hind legs. Then I wake up one morning and they are all dead, and there are these red C-shaped twisting things I have found mosquito larvae. Have you eaten my tadpoles? There are also small things sqirming opaque in the bowl, I'm not sure if an earlier stage or a different type of larvae. What are these, and could have killed my tadpoles? Help please.
Can not see anything you describe get 20 in one night, one every few days, perhaps, something happened to them, besides the things you see swimming around, sorry, do not know what yet.
